If you have never visited Mt. Rushmore...put it on your list of
'family vacations to take'!!
Matt had to travel to Rapid City, South Dakota to set up a new Cabela's store last week. One of the nights he and his co-worker headed to Mt. Rushmore for the evening 'lighting show'. Matt took this great photo as the sun was going down!
We haven't been there as a family for several years now...but seeing this pictures sure makes me want to go again! It really is amazing and is only 4 hours from our home!

We heart Mt Rushmore. T still talks about it and it was more than a year ago that we went! ;) There are so many things around here I need to get my tush in gear and do, like the Ft Sidney Commanders museum, Carhenge up by Alliance, etc.
I've never been. But just seeing the picture is always awe inspiring for me. What talent!
I feel like a neglectful mother and citizen. We definitly need to put this on the calendar.
What a beautiful site. When we are in your neck of the woods again, we'll have to make the trip.
