They have been busy doing fun things in school.
BRAYDEN
He attended a preschool offered by the High School for 6 weeks where the students are their instructors. It was for 35 minutes, 3 days a week. Very short...but he loved it. He missed about half of it this year...due to his spots (which are gone for now by the way) but he did get to do the exciting outing of riding the big yellow bus! They sang 'the wheels on the bus' and other fun school type songs as they drove around each elementary school in town. Brayden is so ready and excited for Kindergarten in the fall!
DREW
He has a very exciting 1st grade classroom. His teacher, Mrs. Ball, always has something going on from cocoons and tadpoles to hatching baby chicks. They have had the eggs in incubators since Easter and they started hatching last week in their classroom! Today was the last day they were going to be there so we went after school to take a peek at the little things. Each of the boys were able to hold one. Ella wanted to pull their heads off...so she wasn't allowed to hold one by herself. Drew had so much fun telling me all about the different stages of the egg and the names of the chicks. He thinks there were 25...I didn't count them. In the classroom they also had a tank of tadpoles, a 'cage' with baby praying mantis', a Lunar Moth that had just come out of the cocoon, some butterflies and a Horn Worm in the pupa stage. So fun!
MORLEY
He had his Recorder concert today! They have been working all semester on their songs and playing together! They really have come a long way! When I was working at his school...it was almost torture in the beginning to hear each class go to Music! He earned his 'purple belt' and played his song very well today! He rarely brought his recorder home to practice and he blamed that on his siblings..."I didn't want them to take it and break it!" Probably smart! He did practice a lot at school and it was wonderful. (pause the music at the bottom of the blog to hear a portion of the concert)
There is only 8 days of school left! YES, EIGHT!!! Their last day is May 20th!! Crazy, I tell you!

Fun things for the boys! I can't believe they only have 8 days of school left. School gets out early there. Summer has arrived!
Wow! I didn't even know all your boys were THAT busy! The chicks look fun. Watching the recorder concert brought back way too many memories...all good. Probably good for your sanity he did NOT bring it home. Way too much fun
I am still laughing that Ella wanted to pull the chicks heads off!! Hilarious!
They are growing up so fast! Thanks for sharing what they're up to. Nice job Mo!
