Christmas is magical. Even through the stress and sibling rivalry, it is magic. Christmas Eve day was spent just being together. Matt worked in the morning while we cleaned the house and enjoyed just being lazy. I made some snacky foods to keep everyone happy. Rolls were made and the ham filled the house with yummy smells. Sugar cookies were decorated and eaten and a few saved for Santa. Dinner was beautiful and delicious. Nana and Pa's ornaments were opened as well as the traditional Christmas pajamas. Stories were read and Santa Clause 1 was watched. Memories were made and four happy children hurried off to bed before Santa arrived. We were tracking Santa and he would be at our house shortly after midnight so there was no time to waste. Cookies and milk for Santa and rainbow carrots for the reindeer were left by the fireplace. The Santa key was nearly forgotten. Even though we now have a fireplace, Brayden insists on leaving the Santa key outside just in case the fire is too hot for Santa. Magical gifts were left and a few footprints too....
