water park fun

I have been trying to do more activities with the kids since our summer is quickly coming to an end. There is a small 'water park' about 35 miles away in Sterling, Colorado. Admission for the 5 of us was only $6...you can't beat that. Three friends and their kiddos came with us. We were there for about an 1 1/2 hours before a mega storm rolled in. We waited out the storm for about 45 minutes...but then decided to head home. As we walked out to the parking lot...they reopened the pool. Back in we went. The kids were so happy! We stayed nearly 'til closing time. The pool was practically empty which was just fine with me! It was really fun and I think we'll go back again before school starts in just 3 weeks! A quick stop at Sonic on the way home to curb hungry appetites was just the perfect ending to fun afternoon!
after the crowd left...loved it!

Way fun! And what a super, great deal! We just went to a waterpark in Boise and it was over 80 bucks for the 4 of us! Crazy!

Okay, Nebraska does have some cheap places to go - that is a benefit of living there. How fun for all of you.
