carving masterpieces

It is funny how your traditions change as your children get older.  In years past Matt and I would be the ones doing the designs of plain triangles and jagged smiles on the pumpkins with Sharpies. Then it evolved into the fun design books you can buy and fancy tools that even the kids could do.  We would still help with the detailed designs they chose.  This year, the boys did their own completely and Matt assisted Ella.  Make it clear that he DID NOT DO IT for her.....she only "helped" her.  YIKES.  As always, it was a fun Sunday night before Halloween.  We love our traditions and will keep this one going as long as we can!!
