Grandma and Grandpa Haley visit!

Grandma and Grandpa Haley treated us with a visit.....just for football games!  Matt invited them when there were four games scheduled over a four day period.  We were all so excited that they made the long drive to support their grandson!  Morley's Friday night game was intense and they won in overtime 42-40.  He didn't have any playing time but it was great to watch him interact and support his team.  Both Drew and Brayden won their games on Saturday.  Grandma didn't have a lot of patience for the little league referees which made us all laugh!

We did a little bit of shopping while we were in Scottsbluff, specifically for more "bands" to make more of the bracelets.  Grandma brought some band bracelet kits and the kids have been making them like crazy.  Drew and Brayden are even selling them at school for $1.50 each!  Unfortunately, Morley's JV game was cancelled on Monday.  It would have been cancelled that afternoon anyway since we received four inches of rain in 14 hours.  We were released from school a little early so those that lived on the country roads could get home before more were under water.  Matt took his parents out to Osh Kosh to the bird refuge...and had quite a ride home on the muddy roads.  Grandma made Matt's favorite Otto's chicken for dinner and we played games and enjoyed out last night together.

It was great to have them visit and especially to have that time with just our family with them.  We LOVE when everyone is together but it is hard to get the individual grandparent/grandchild or Matt/with his parents time.  It was wonderful and we love when family can visit.  After nine years we still have some that have never been to see us in Nebraska.  It is a long way for most which is a bummer.  Pin It!
