Phew, the boys survived Scout Camp. They were EXHAUSTED when they got home and not too terribly stinky. Drew reported that Morley was a good big brother and looked out for him. Matt sure missed being there with them this year. He did make the 6 hour drive to go and pick them up Friday afternoon with Brayden. Apparently Drew is not too old to hug his dad. Morley gave him a head nod and a "what's up"...teenagers. Matt made dutch oven donuts for the crew and added a new ingredient....bacon bits. Gross. The boys did well and earned all the merit badges they signed up for. Morley completed shotgun, pulp and paper, emergency prep, pottery, geo-caching and a hunter's safety course. Drew completed swimming, space exploration and pulp and paper.
On their long drive home, they took their time and did some sight seeing. They toured the Capitol Building and the Kearney Archway Museum and completed a human maze. Matt did well taking pictures...
It was great to have everyone home again after a long week. The noise came back with a vengeance and laundry was piled high and massive food consumption resumed. I love my family!
