Pinewood Derby

We survived another Pinewood Derby!  Matt said this year was a breeze since there was only one car to make.  Brayden came up with his own design and wanted it painted like Perry the Platypus.  Our first race was with the Dalton scouts.  There were 23 cars and Brayden took 2nd place.  He has fun racing with his best friends from school.

 

 

A few days later we had our Derby at the church.  We borrowed the track from the Dalton scouts and it worked out great.  Matt spent a few hours figuring out the computer program.  It was worth the extra work and now he can teach it to the Dalton group next year!  We only had 8 scouts this year so each boy was able to run their cars 10 times!  Brayden took 1st place again.  It was a very fun night!  Two more years...
