Brayden as the only one to play football this year....much to Drew's disappointment. While we were away on our vacation to WA this summer...I missed the deadline. However, it was nice to just have one in sports at a time for once. This was Brayden's first experience with flag football, and he loved it! He was on a team with mostly 2nd graders so he didn't touch the football much, but he still had fun. There was one boy who scored at least three touch downs each game, which made Brayden happy because they won all of the time!
The weather couldn't have been better for our games! In the five years we've been playing flag football, we have experience sleet, snow, rain and FREEZING temperatures during our games. This year, we had sun and more sun. The last game was a little chilly but we only had to wear sweatshirts! It was so much easier to enjoy the games when you're warm! I am pretty sure that Brayden enjoyed playing in the warmer weather too!
And...now it is over...until basketball starts in a few weeks.

How fun. I haven't looked in to flag football here, but it would be a great option. Cute pictures of the boys being 'tough' and smiling.
