STAYcation...

While Matt, Morley and Drew were at scout camp for six days, Brayden, Ella and I had a grand time!  We went to the zoo, movies, Sonic, water park, sang at a retirement home, Cabela's, dinner at the park, Pack Meeting and fun outside at home!  We stayed busy and loved our time together doing fun things the older boys would enjoy as much.  I love these two kids so much and we cherished our time together!  Ella did get a bit sick after our day at the water park.  It is weird to think you can get dehydrated when you are in the water all day! 

TREK at Martin's Cove

Morley had a unique and special experience to attend Youth Conference at Martin's Cove for Trek.  Matt and I were so excited for him to attend this and prayed he would have an amazing and spiritual experience!  I am SO thankful for the pictures that Kirtis Hill took for me during the four days!  It was hot and windy and a tough few days. Morley came home exhausted but with a stronger testimony. He didn't share a lot except that is was "good" and "fun".  Boys...

Then he was asked to give a talk in sacrament meeting on his experience.  It was fantastic, very spiritual and from his heart. He read the story of the gentleman he "walked for" and then shared his testimony about different experiences he had.  I cried the whole time and he was emotional too. I sure love that kid! I hope these experiences will stay with him through his life!

Morley is 15!

 

 

Our Morley is 15.  Fifteen. Good golly, he is getting too old and tall.  He of course requested Café Rio for dinner along with the families favorite chocolate cake! What do you buy a 15 year old boy?  Well, an iPhone 5c of course!  I am not sure if he had an idea that he was getting one, but if he did know he faked his surprise pretty well!  He was one happy boy!  He was also thrilled with Ella's gift of a root beer 2 liter that she bought with her own money!

We sure love our 15 year old boy!  He is smart and funny.  Spiritual and quiet.  Tall and handsome.
